Multicereal and chia seeds breakfast cake

Can you have cake for breakfast? Of course you can! Check this out! It’s a porridge cake, more or less. At least the cooking part is the same as for a porridge, the difference is that you consume the result cold and not hot and that it has a solid consistency. I will call it a cake (looks like one since I let it cool in a square container).

Ingredients

  • 500 ml low fat milk 1.5% fat
  • 50 g rolled multicereal mix
  • 50 g rolled rice
  • 20 g chia seeds
  • 10 g unsweetened raisins
  • 10 g unsweetened coconut chips
  • 20 g black cocoa
  • 20 g honey

Instructions

  • Boil together the milk, the rolled multicereals, the rolled rice and the chia seeds until creamy.
  • Add the cocoa and the honey, then mix thoroughly.
  • Garnish with the raisins and the coconut chips.
  • Pour into a container and leave to cool completely before serving.
