I’ve always asked myself is cottage cheese a suitable ingredient for porridge? Until now, I tried various combinations, but never tried adding the cottage cheese in the mix, and since I found Olympus’ smooth and velvety version, I had to try it out.

Ingredients
- 100 g rolled oats
- 400 ml low fat milk 1.5% fat
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 small banana
- 30 g dark chocolate with stevia 85% cocoa
- 100 g light cottage cheese Olympus’ 2% fat
Instructions
- Prepare the porridge by boiling together the milk and the rolled oats on medium heat until creamy (aprox 10 minutes).
- Take the pot from the stove and mix with the honey.
- Pour in 2 serving bowls and leave to cool for 2 minutes.
- Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and microwave it for 2 minutes to melt it completely.
- Garnish the porridge with banana slices, the cottage cheese and a drizzle of melted chocolate on top.
