Pineapple and sour cherries compote porridge

This was one of those days when I didn’t have a plan for the breakfast and just let myself carried away by what was available at that moment in the kitchen. And what could be better than a nice bowl of fruity porridge?

Ingredients

  • 400 ml low fat milk 1.5% fat
  • 100 g rolled multicereals
  • 10 g raisins
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1 handful of sour cherries from a compote jar 🙂
  • 2 tsp honey

Instructions

  • Boil together the milk with the multicereals and raisins until creamy.
  • Garnish with fresh pineapple chunks and the sour cherries compote.
  • Drizzle the honey over it and enjoy!
