The one and only thing that stays close to my heart (and tummy 🙂 ) about breakfasts is porridge.. and eggs. And porridge again. So I prepared this lovely nutty porridge just to indulge myself and have something old and new in the same time.
Nutty porridge with coconut cream
Servings: 2
Calories: 500kcal
Ingredients
- 400 ml low fat milk 1.5% fat
- 100 g rolled oats
- 2 tbsp raw cocoa
- 1.5 tbsp honey
- 30 ml coconut cream
- 20 g pecan nuts
- 15 g hazelnuts
Instructions
- Bring the milk to a boil and add the rolled oats.
- Leave to simmer until creamy (stir from time to time).
- Add the raw cocoa and whisk thoroughly.
- Set aside and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
- Add the honey and pour into 2 serving bowls.
- Garnish with the nuts and coconut creamed drizzled on top.
