Postworkout dinner – Grilled chicken pastrami with veggies salad

You need proteins to build your muscles and you need them ‘bad’ 🙂 This is not my everyday recipe as the pastrami was purchased from the supermarket, but I guess it’s useful for someone who just needs an idea of what to eat after training.

Grilled chicken pastrami with veggies salad

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken thigh + drumstick pastrami
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 fresh spring onions
  • 1/2 lettuce
  • 1 lemon
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Take the skin off the chicken pastrami and make diagonal cuts over the surface of the meat.
  • Heat up a grill pan and when hot, add the pastrami. Sear on each side for 4-5 minutes on high heat.
  • Wash and cut all vegetables. Season with salt and lemon to taste.
  • Enjoy!
