Tuna sandwich

One of my favorites since I was in my Uni years. This was the breakfast I saved for big days like celebration of passed exams or anniversaries. Brings memories indeed. And for the sake of those memories, I chose to keep the mayo in for now. It’s something about that taste, it has to have a bit of mayo, but I chose a lighter version with only 25% fat. So, yes, there’s mayo! 😀 😀

Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole-wheat bread
  • 150 g tuna in brine drained
  • 3 tbsp light mayonaise 25% fat
  • 6 black olives pitted
  • 1 pickled cucumber
  • 1/4 iceberg salad
  • 1 scallion

Instructions

  • Toast the bread slices.
  • Cut the salad into fine shreds, the scallion into fine slices and the olives into chunks, then add them to a mixing bowl.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Add the mix on top of the toast slices and serve right-away.
